Last month I wrote about my experiences with a life coach, Nicolas Moreno. This month I will tell you which books he suggested I read for a better understanding of how to live and organize my life.
1. Start with Why, Simon Sinek
In his book he carefully explains how business’ succeed with a proper mission statement. A business owner should live and breathe his mission and share it with his employees so they don’t feel they are just doing an hourly job but they are part of something bigger.
2. Are You Living or Existing, Kimanzi Constable
The second book belongs to my good friend Kimanzi Constable. This book is a road map to your dreams. Kimanzi is as authentic as they come and as he shares his experiences with you, you know you are not alone.
3. The Richest Man in Babylon, George Clason
If you haven’t read it, you should— it’s a classic. If you have debt, or want to change your relationship with money, this is the book for you. I wish someone had given me this book at the age of 14 when I started my first job.
4. Miracle Morning, Howe Elrod
This book is as repetitive as it gets but it has a good message. The early bird certainly gets the worm. Worth a read, albeit a quick one.
5. Think and Grow Rich, Napoleon Hill
Hill researched more than forty millionaires to find out what made them the men that they were. Once you’ve read this book you will understand what gives certain people an edge over everyone else. By following the advice laid out in this book you’ll be the one with an edge.
6. Sell or Be Sold, Grant Cardone
In all areas in life from selling a product in a boardroom or selling yourself on the idea that you need a vacation…we are always selling or being sold to. In this book Cardone breaks down the art of selling.
7. How to Win Friends and Influence People, Andrew Carnegie
This book is a masterpiece. A prerequisite for anyone who has ever spoken to another individual. Learn the ways to speak to others to get what you want.
With these books in your library you will be unstoppable in getting the life you want.
